Chelsea Football Club have parted ways with head coach Liam Rosenior following a run of underwhelming performances, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Premier League side expressed appreciation for Rosenior and his backroom staff, praising his professionalism and integrity since taking over midway through the season. However, the club acknowledged that recent results had fallen short of expectations at a critical stage of the campaign.
“This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly,” the statement read, underscoring the urgency to reverse declining form with key fixtures still ahead.
Assistant coach Calum McFarlane will assume interim control of the team until the end of the season, supported by the existing technical bench. The club remains focused on securing European qualification and making progress in the FA Cup.
Chelsea added that a thorough review process is now underway as part of efforts to appoint a long-term head coach and restore stability in the dugout.
The club concluded by wishing Rosenior success in his future endeavors.
