The Kalahari Conference concluded on a high-octane note at SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa, with two decisive games closing out the group phase.

In the opening clash, Nairobi City Thunder of Kenya handed RSSB Tigers of Rwanda their first loss of the tournament, defeating them 101–92. Derrick Ogechi spearheaded the Thunder with 22 points, while Tylor Ongwae contributed 17 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. For the Tigers, Antino Jackson Jr. scored 24 points and dished out nine assists.
The final game saw Petro de Luanda of Angola dominate the Johannesburg Giants of South Africa 105–61, rounding off the group stage with an emphatic victory. Javion Blake led the Angolan side with 21 points and nine assists, while Aboubacar Gakou added 18 points and 10 rebounds. Josh Ozabor top-scored for the Giants with 19 points, marking their fifth consecutive defeat in the competition.
RSSB Tigers, Petro de Luanda, Al Ahly Ly (Libya), and Dar City (Tanzania) have all advanced to the BAL Playoffs, scheduled from May 22–31 at Kigali’s BK Arena.
With the Kalahari Conference concluded, focus now shifts to the Sahara Conference, set to run from April 24–May 5 in Rabat, Morocco.
