In the heart of Siaya County’s North Gem region, a powerful environmental and public health movement is gaining momentum. MiMi AllSource Purification Services Limited, under the leadership of CEO Randy Hudson and his partner David Dapto Onyalo—an active member of the Sirembe community—is championing a transformative tree planting and water purification initiative through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) program.

This initiative supports Kenya’s bold goal of planting 15 billion trees by 2032, part of the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign. Backed by the Sirembe Sub County Chief and local leaders, the campaign has rallied strong community participation, ensuring that the project reflects local needs and fosters a true sense of ownership.

Tree planting brings immense value: cleaning the air, restoring ecosystems, regulating water cycles, and mitigating the effects of climate change. It also improves mental well-being, boosts local economies, and creates greener, more livable spaces.
Complementing this effort, MiMi AllSource is improving access to clean water across rural communities—directly enhancing public health and daily living conditions.

This holistic approach is a shining example of what is possible when communities, businesses, and government work together toward sustainable development. The North Gem initiative is more than a project—it is a growing legacy of resilience, partnership, and hope for future generations.
