One of her standout projects is a borehole she financed in Bwanda, a village on the outskirts of Kisumu. The borehole has transformed the community, sparing residents long, arduous trips to fetch water.
Keerah’s commitment to empowering young girls is equally remarkable. She provides monthly sanitary pads to girls in the community, ensuring they can stay in school during their menstrual periods.
“Sometimes we missed school during our monthly periods because our parents couldn’t afford sanitary pads,” shared one of the beneficiaries.
