Maseno University students were treated to a vibrant afternoon of entertainment, giveaways and exciting opportunities during the Fanta Skizia Utamu campaign activation held at the university’s main campus.

The colourful event, held on Friday at the campus Graduation Square, brought together students, content creators and entertainers as Fanta sought to engage the university community and promote its latest campaign.
Speaking during the activation, Sharon-Rose Nanyaro, Fanta’s Influencer Manager, said the team chose to visit Maseno University to give students an opportunity to experience the Fanta Skizia Utamu campaign while exploring opportunities available to content creators.
Nanyaro said the recently launched Fanta User-Generated Content (UGC) Challenge provides students and other aspiring content creators with an opportunity to create and share videos featuring Fanta on social media and stand a chance to win exciting rewards.
“Today we are here at Maseno to do an activation and engage the students with the amazing opportunities that Fanta Skizia Utamu has brought. We recently launched the Fanta UGC Challenge, whereby students, upcoming creators and anyone interested in content creation can participate and stand a chance to win amazing rewards,” Nanyaro said.

She encouraged students and content creators to visit www.fantaskiziautamu.africa, register for the challenge and begin creating and sharing content on their social media platforms.
According to Nanyaro, participants can submit as many videos as they wish, with Fanta tracking the content and rewarding participants based on the views their videos accumulate.
“We have rewards dedicated to both individuals and groups. If you are interested in content creation, visit the website, sign up, create your content, and post it on your social media platforms. We will track the content and reward you based on the views accumulated,” she said.
She added that participants could post multiple videos, with rewards based on cumulative views, giving creators an opportunity to increase their chances of winning by consistently producing content.
The Fanta Skizia Utamu Challenge officially began on September 1 and will run until October 31, 2026.

Meanwhile, Maseno University Students’ Head of Entertainment, Arafat Menta, expressed satisfaction with the activation, praising Fanta for bringing the campaign to the institution.
Menta also commended the artists who performed during the event, saying they helped keep the entertainment atmosphere lively throughout the activation.
He called on Fanta and other major brands to organise more activations at Maseno University, saying students welcomed such engagements.
Students who attended the event also praised the organisers for delivering an entertaining and memorable experience.
They urged Fanta to continue considering Maseno University whenever it plans future activations, brand launches and promotional campaigns, saying the Fanta Skizia Utamu event was a major success.
