Coca-Cola has launched its captivating new campaign, Irresistible in Glass, celebrating shared moments and cherished traditions in Kisumu City and across the Nyanza region. This initiative seeks to revive the timeless joy of savoring Coca-Cola from its iconic returnable glass bottle, a practice that has brought people together for generations.

The campaign invites Kenyans to rediscover the unparalleled experience of drinking Coke in glass, blending nostalgia with community connection. Through vibrant activities and interactive events, residents of Kisumu have been reflecting on the special memories tied to sipping Coca-Cola from its classic bottle.
The company’s teams have taken the campaign nationwide, touring 40 counties and hosting lively events to highlight the deep cultural ties Kenyans share with the Coca-Cola glass bottle. Priced affordably at just Ksh 20 for a 200ml bottle, Coca-Cola continues to be a nostalgic favorite among families, students, and social gatherings.
Dennis Otieno, a resident of Kondele, expressed his delight with the campaign, reminiscing about childhood moments.
“Coke in a glass bottle reminds me of my childhood, especially Christmas celebrations when we’d enjoy it as a family,” he shared.

His sentiments were echoed by Mary Obuya from Nyamasaria, who fondly described her preference for the glass bottle.
“For me, Coke is at its best in a glass bottle. It reminds me of my younger days,” she said.
Beyond its refreshing taste, Coca-Cola in glass represents more than just a beverage; it’s a symbol of togetherness, joy, and tradition. Whether served ice-cold or at room temperature, the drink holds a special place in Kenyan hearts and homes.
With Irresistible in Glass, Coca-Cola is not merely promoting a product—it’s rekindling memories, fostering connections, and celebrating the moments that make every sip truly unforgettable.
