Kisumu County Senatorial aspirant Wakili Fred Odumo Nying’uro has sent a heartfelt condolence message to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga family, the Luo community, and all Kenyans following the sudden death of former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

In a moving tribute, Nying’uro described Raila’s passing as a moment of “immense disbelief and profound sorrow”, saying the loss has left an “indelible ache in the hearts of millions, not just in Kenya, but across the world.”

“Raila Odinga was not merely a political figure; he was a beacon of hope, a symbol of resilience, and an embodiment of the relentless spirit of the Kenyan people,” Nying’uro said. “His unwavering commitment to justice, democracy, and the empowerment of the marginalized will forever echo in the annals of Kenya’s history.”

He hailed Raila as a visionary leader who dedicated his life to transforming Kenya, standing firm for what was right even when it was unpopular. “This is not just the loss of a leader; it is the loss of a father figure, a patriarch whose passion, wisdom, and deep connection to the Kenyan soul guided us through some of our darkest days,” he added.

Nying’uro extended his deepest condolences to Raila’s family, friends, and supporters, urging Kenyans to honor the former Prime Minister’s memory by continuing his mission for justice and equality.

“Kenya has lost a giant,” Nying’uro concluded. “But the lessons he imparted and the path he blazed will inspire generations to come. Rest in peace, Raila Amolo Odinga. You will never be forgotten.”
