When my lonely voice called out in the ODM desert during election season, urging people to vote for Ruto, it was drowned out by the chants of loyalty to Baba. I was constantly reminded that even the air I breathed was thanks to someone who risked his life for democracy. But that’s all water under the bridge.

On October 6, 2023, Nyando Constituency, in Kabonyo village, President Ruto arrived in style. Being a stickler for time management, he adhered to his schedule. By 9A.M, military helicopters were ready to make their first landing in Kabonyo, with the sitting president on board..

Seamless Sufuria Satisfaction

There were no embarrassing scenes with Sufurias. The container wasn’t subjected to the usual indignity of being forced to fit different heads. Ruto’s Strategic Speech Engages Audience and Addresses Controversy

Ruto’s political acumen was on full display as he kept the crowd engaged with his oratory skills, outlining a slew of development projects lined up for the region. President Ruto Addressing Residents of Kanbonyo Kanyagual

Nyando MP Jared Okello was conspicuously absent. Being a faithful follower of the ODM political doctrine, his presence might have been considered a sacrilege by his political idols. Kudos to Governor Nyong’o for breaking the chains of political loyalty and attending. Jared missed an opportunity to emphasize the need for hardship allowances for government workers in Nyando.

Thank you, Mr. President, for visiting us and bringing hope to the people of Nyando.
