Shabana FC celebrated their maiden FKF Premier League victory of the season by edging Kenya Police FC 1-0 in a tightly contested match at Gusii Stadium, Kisii. Vincent Nyabuto delivered the winning goal in the 35th minute, connecting with James Mazembe’s pinpoint cross, leaving Police’s goalkeeper Patrick Matasi with no chance.

Kenya Police came out strong, aiming to extend their unbeaten run, with Francis Kahata nearly striking in the ninth minute, only for his shot to graze the post. The Police side kept the pressure on, but missed critical chances, including a misfired header by Alfred Mang’eni and a shaky clearance by Matasi that nearly allowed Shabana a second shot.
AFC Leopards Snatch Late Draw Against Mara Sugar
At Dandora Stadium, AFC Leopards narrowly avoided defeat as Sydney Lokale struck a last-minute equalizer to secure a 1-1 draw against Mara Sugar.
