Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to equitable development across the country, stating that ongoing projects in all 47 counties reflect President William Ruto’s resolve to transform lives and leave a lasting legacy.

Dr. Omollo said the administration has rolled out wide-ranging initiatives in key sectors, including infrastructure, housing, and healthcare, noting that the projects are already having a tangible impact on communities nationwide.

“It is clear that no part of this country is being left behind. Development in roads, health, and education is happening across all counties, ensuring every Kenyan benefits equally,” he said.

He urged Kenyans to support the current administration and grant it another term in the 2027 General Election to sustain the ongoing transformation agenda.

At the same time, the Interior PS cautioned against divisive politics, calling on citizens to reject leaders promoting tribalism and instead embrace unity for national progress.

Dr. Omollo, who has been spearheading national identity card and voter registration drives in the Nyanza region, also appealed to eligible citizens to participate in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) mass voter registration exercise set to begin.

He emphasised that possession of a national ID is critical for accessing government services and participating in the democratic process.

“We urge all those who have attained 18 years and above to register and take part in shaping the country’s future,” he added.

The PS spoke during a church service in Elgeyo-Marakwet County, where he had accompanied Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen.

He also lauded improved security in the Kerio Valley and the wider Rift Valley region, attributing the gains to sustained government operations against banditry and livestock theft, which he said are now yielding positive results.
