Addressing the faithful, Kanga, who also serves as the Kisumu County Assembly Chief Whip and is eyeing the Kisumu East parliamentary seat, commended the church for its continued prayers for Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga as he seeks the African Union (AU) Chairmanship.

Kanga reiterated the urgent need for higher learning institutions, including a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) campus, in Kisumu East Constituency. He emphasized the importance of adequate water supply, better road networks, and other essential facilities to improve the lives of residents. These, he noted, are part of his 2027 agenda for transforming the constituency.

Additionally, he encouraged the church leadership and congregants to actively support and register as members of the ODM party, highlighting the significance of a unified political platform in driving development and social progress.

Kanga’s remarks underscored his commitment to fostering a blend of faith, political action, and development in Kisumu East, urging the community to remain steadfast in prayers and unity for a brighter future.
